Terms and Conditions

  • 2. class, change to 1. class excluded
  • One return journey from 00:00 on the specified day of validity until 00:03 the following day on trains of Produktklasse C (RE and RB) operated by participating DB Group Transport companies
  • The Offer includes a corresponding Bergbahn-Voucher. When the voucher is handed in at the sales points of the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (BZB), the corresponding mountain railway ticket is given to the passenger. The ticket remains with the passenger and is validated by the BZB if necessary.
  • Non-transferable, no exchange, no refund


Area of validity:

The "Garmischer-Sommer Ticket” is valid for the outward and return journeys on the following route sections during the offer period:

  • Garmischer Sommer-Ticket Zugspitze: München Hbf - Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze
  • Garmischer Sommer Ticket Garmisch-Classic: München Hbf - Garmisch-Partenkirchen Kreuzeck- / Alpspitzbahn

The following trains are eligible:
  • All trains of the Produktklasse C (RE, RB, S-Bahn) operated by participating DB Group Transport companies during the offer period of a return journey between München Hbf to Garmisch-Partenkirchen
  • S-Bahn only between München Hbf und Tutzing
  • Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (BZB) between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze resp. Garmisch-Partenkirchen Kreuzeck- / Alpspitzbahn 


Please note that when booking the offer for children, the first name and surname of the child/young person must be entered in the field “Ticket is for someone else” (selection below calendar view).

The Zugspitze willbe closed during the following timeslots 

  • Seilbahn Zugspitze 04. - 22. November 2024 (open Saturday and Sunday)
  • Gletscherbahn 04. - 22. November 2024 (open Saturday and Sunday)
  • Zahnradbahn 04. - 22. November 2024 (Bergstrecke, closed permanentaly)
On the non-selectable days within the season, certain Bergbahnen are closed for maintenance. Please inform yourself in advance about the opening hours of the Bergbahnen. (www.zugspitze.de)
