With this ticket, you can explore popular destinations in the Franken-Thüringen-Express area for an entire day. It is valid in all DB regional trains on the routes Nürnberg Hbf - Bamberg, Lichtenfels - Saalfeld, Würzburg - Bamberg, Neustadt - Sonneberg, Saalfeld - Camburg, Weißenfels – Leipzig Hbf, Coburg – Erfurt Hbf, as well as in agilis Verkehrsgesellschaft trains on the route Forchheim - Bamberg - Lichtenfels - Coburg/Hochstadt – Marktzeuln.

Conditions:

• Validity:

  • Valid for 1 main traveler and up to 4 additional passengers.

  • Up to three children aged 6 to 14, as well as any number of children under 6, can travel free of charge.

  • Accompanying dogs requiring a fare are counted as a person when determining the total number of passengers.

• Validity Period:

  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 AM the following day. On Saturdays, Sundays, Bavarian public holidays, August 15th (Assumption Day), Reformation Day (October 31st), Repentance Day (November 21st), and on December 24th and 31st, the ticket is valid from 12:00 AM on the travel day until 3:00 AM the following day.

Area of Validity:

• The ticket is valid for unlimited travel in 2nd class on DB regional trains (IRE, RE, RB) on the routes Nürnberg Hbf - Bamberg, Lichtenfels - Saalfeld, Würzburg - Bamberg, Neustadt - Sonneberg, Saalfeld - Camburg, Weißenfels – Leipzig Hbf, Coburg – Erfurt Hbf, as well as in agilis Verkehrsgesellschaft trains on the route Forchheim - Bamberg - Lichtenfels - Coburg/Hochstadt-Marktzeuln.
• For journeys that are entirely within transport associations or on trains operated by other railway companies (EVU), the Regio-Ticket Franken-Thüringen + Erfurt is only valid if a special agreement with the respective transport/tariff association, the transport community, or other EVUs has been made. The same applies to the use of regional bus services operated by DB or other companies.
